Not Synching to IPhone

Hi! I used my Fitbit for several months no problem. I stopped using it for a few weeks and left my Fitbit off during that time. I’d like to use it again but it’d not tracking my steps and the time is wrong. Though I get text notifications, my phone doesn’t recognize it on the app and I can’t get them to connect. Help!

Hi there @HeatherSwi - Welcome to the forums! Here are a few questions that will better help us  troubleshoot this problem with you.

  • Which Fitbit device do you have? 
  • Is your iPhone’s iOS up to date? Have you updated the Fitbit app to the latest version?
  • You mentioned “my phone does not recognize it on the app.” Does this mean that if you open the app, tap Account in the top, left corner, your device is not listed? 
  • One last question ... if you open the iPhone’s Bluetooth settings, do you see the Fitbit device listed?
