Not getting Sleep Stages, Heart rate or Hourly Activity in app.

My steps and water intake (from MyFitnessPal) are syncing, but the sleep tile just says, "How did you sleep?"  I've synced multiple times, and there's no new data there.  I can't tell if it didn't record any sleep last night or if there's just a glitch.  My software is up to date, I slept over three hours (probably over six), my device was fully charged before I went to bed last night, and I've shut down and restarted my device.  I just noticed my heart rate tile is only showing resting heart rate instead of current heart rate, and I do not have any hours listed with 250+ steps even though I believe I should have at least some of those.

Hello @liltrinity, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. I would also like to thank you for letting us know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. Tell me, which Fitbit device are you currently using? Have you restarted your phone recently? If so, I would like to suggest you the following steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  3. Open the Fitbit app.
  4. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart your phone again.
  5. Open the Fitbit app.
  6. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart it one more time.
  7. If your Fitbit device won't sync after the restart, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone, tablet, or computer and try to sync.
  8. If your Fitbit device still doesn’t sync, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your mobile device and try to sync.

Additionally, I would like to ask you to enable All-day Sync by going to Account > Your device > All-day Sync, when a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue. Note that All-day Sync has been tested and confirmed that will not drain the battery on your device or your phone faster than usual.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.

I had tried that yesterday after I posted the issue.  It didn't seem to work, and I already had all-day sync on.  This morning sync just started working again, but there's no data for yesterday's sleep and steps per hour so maybe it was down yesterday?

@liltrinity  Thanks for your reply and fro trying the steps provided in order to sort this out. I'm glad it started to sync again the next morning. It is very odd indeed. Perhaps the app updated itself at the moment.

In this case, you can recover that day's data by manually adding the steps and the sleep. The hourly activity graph should be filled and sleep should show for you to nor loose any data. Please follow the next steps:

For the steps you need to make sure you are selecting the option for steps. You should do this on the online dashboard. Check the picture below:
