Not receiving phone call or text notifications

I just got a iPhone 8. I am able to receive calendar notifications on my Fitbit but not able to get calls or texts. I’ve restarted my Fitbit, reinstalled and uninstalled my Fitbit several times and I’m still not getting anything. I’m not sure what else to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks for your post and for troubleshooting your device prior to posting. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured and to try some troubleshooting steps.

Thanks for getting back to me. I have done all those things listed. I am only getting calendar alerts, phone calls and all the Fitbit information. I am still not receiving texts on my Fitbit Alta.

Thanks for troubleshooting your device with me, seems odd that you're still not receiving text messages on your Alta. To further investigate this situation and understand why you're not receiving such notifications, can you please send me a screenshot of the notification settings from the Messages app? You can refer to this post for instructions of how to attach an image into your post.

Same with my Fitbit Versa for MONTHS. None of the troubleshooting “tips” help. Waste of money.

I’m with you. I’ve had mine over a year now and no joy. So torn about throwing the **ahem** thing out and getting an Apple Watch. It simply does not do what it is supposed to.

Without doing a thing, I just received a text notification!!!

Goodness knows how that happened. Better learn to like my Fitbit again. Here’s hoping you have similar success.

I’ve had the same problem,Had it with my charge 2 so I got the new Versa watch and it’s still not receiving texts!

For months I haven’t been receiving texts on my Ionic. It makes me want to pull my hair out. I’ve tried everything to fix it.
