For those of you that are not receiving text messages on your Charge 2, do the following to resolve assuming you are pairing with an iPhone:
Go to "Settings"
Down to "Notifications"
Scroll down to "Messages"
Under Alerts, select "Show in History".
This solved my issue...

Thanks for posting this! I haven’t been getting text notifications for a while and couldn’t find the issue. All fixed now!
