Not receiving text notifications

I have scoured and read every. single. troubleshoot advice on this entire site, and on others.

I receive calls, FB messages and Skypes on my Fitbit but no texts.

In an effort to not waste your time please note I have thoroughly tested every piece of advice I've seen in this forum.

My Fitbit and iPhone X are up to date. I have tried disconnecting and restarting everything. I've turned notifications off and on. My notifications are set to on banners, lock screen and notification center. 

I've disconnected the bluetooth, restarted, and reconnected and allowed notifications on all capacities. Neither iMessages or android texts are coming through. Every other notification comes through instantly.

Is this just a glitch I will have to deal with? Looks like several other users expressed the same frustration and never fixed it. Very disappointing considering the price.

Any other tricks that are not already on this forum?

Hi Everyone, 

Is anyone able to help me in regarding of notifications, I've got a charge 2 Fitbit and a iPhone 11. I can receive notifications on my Fitbit for phone calls but don't receive any notifications for text messages. Any advice I would really appreciate it.

I upgraded my phone from a 6+ to an iPhone XR, and now my texts won’t sync. The calls still sync, but the text messages stopped showing on my Versa2. Can anyone please help me? I tried shutting down the versa and my phone at the same time and restarting, but still the same problem.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that you're not receiving text notifications on your Fitbit devices. Thank you for your troubleshooting efforts. I understand how frustrating this is for you and I am here to assist you. 

It’s important that you carefully review and update your notifications settings on your iPhone. Please follow all instructions in Troubleshooting quick tips for iPhones.

Thank you for joining the thread and sharing your concern about responding to messages with your Fitbit device paired to your iPhone. I would like to advise that quick replies to send customized responses to text messages and messages from certain apps is currently available on certain devices paired to an Android phone. Devices paired to an iPhone or Windows 10 phone can only respond to Fitbit app notifications, such as messages, cheers, taunts, and friend requests.
