Since updating my IPad to 13.4.1 it can’t find device. Uninstalled, reinstalled and reentered device, worked for a few hours and again not finding device. Any suggestions to fix permanently?

I am sorry to hear your Fitbit device stopped syncing after updating your iPad to 13.4.1. Thanks for trying to resolve this and I am here to help you.
I recommend following the complete troubleshooting instructions from this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Please also do the following:
- Open Settings app on iPad
- Scroll down, tap Fitbit -> Toggle Location to 'Always'
- Ensure toggles next to Bluetooth and Background App Refresh are turned "On"
