The same thing is happening to me! I just purchased a Charge 4 and the notifications were working for the first month or so. Since then I have had to uninstall and reinstall my fitbit on the app multiple times. I have hard closed the app, rebooted my device, toggled the bluetooth option off/on for my iPhone, I've checked the Do Not Disturb setting and the Sleep Mode setting, confirmed my iPhone notifications for FitBit are set up correctly yet I cannot tap on the Notification menu on my iPhone. the Fitbit app version is 20001.96.29. It's very frustrating as I purchased this Fitbit specifically to receive notifications. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

I have done the uninstall reinstall many times. Also have unpaired and repaired the bluetooth. With every app update, I am hoping the issue is fixed since it seems to be a iOS issue and not isolated.
I have a Sense and very frustrating not to be able to control notifications. The reminder to move one is infuriating.

Why is this issue marked as resolved? It’s still a problem! Have reinstalled APP deleted and reconnected Bluetooth multiple times. If I’d known this didn’t work I wouldn’t have ordered this device. My old Flex worked better with notifications!

As of today I updated the firmware on my Inspire device. Then I deleted and reinstalled the Fitbit app on my iPhone 11. Now I am ale to (finally!) access the 'Notifications' menu under my device and make sure all the notifications work. Now i'll see if indeed I receive notifications on the Inspire device!

However I also had to make sure that Do Not Disturb is OFF and Sleep Mode is OFF so that the device will vibrate when a notification comes in! So many settings!!!

Does it reinstall your data when you delete and then add back the app?

Thank you, it worked!
I don't think the FitBit app should come up with a warning that your data will be deleted if that is not the case. That warning message stopped me doing this fix days ago until I heard back from yourself.
