Hi all,
I would like to suggest a feature for the "track exercise" in the iOS app. I own an Alta HR.
For my runs, I always used Runkeeper to track both open-air and indoor (treadmill) runs. The latter is possible in that application because it allows you to create a "stopwatch" activity, where the GPS is not tracking and the distance you ran is entered manually (from the treadmill display for instance), while all the rest (pace, heart rate...) is tracked by the app, and one receives voice cues together with the music that is handled directly by the app.
Now, this is replicated for outdoor runs by the current Fitbit app, but the lack of a GPS-less option (what Runkeeper calls a "stopwatch") activity prevents me to use Fitbit for this rather than Runkeeper. And given that the Runkeeper-Fitbit integration is... less than impressive, I would rather stay within one single app...
Any idea or plan in this sense?
Thanks!
LS
