Pairing a new Phone

Went from a Galaxy S3 to an iphone 6S+. I didn't do anything on the S3 and just downloaded the Fitbit app on the new phone and signed in and it synced and everything. Is that how I do it?

Maybe it's me but it just seems off. Goals aren't updating right away, sleep takes forever to show up well after my sync has ended. Wondering if I did anything wrong setting it up on my new phone.

It's a Charge by the way.

Nope, that's how you do it.  Sometimes some of your stats can take a little while to propagate through the Fitbit servers

@nikkismo Welcome to the Fitbit Community! What's important to note is that you your Fitbit tracker is paired to your Fitbit account and isn't device specific.

That being said, there are certain features like call notifications that require that your tracker be Bluetooth bonded with the device that you want to receive notifications from. I'd recommend the following:

1. Downloading the Fitbit App on your new device and log into the App using your email and password associated with your Fitbit account.

2. If you want to setup notifications for your device, you can do this by: clicking the account button in the Fitbit App > click the tracker tile that you want to receive notifications on > click the notifications button > and then confirm that you want to create a Bluetooth bond between your tracker and phone.

3. If step two is unsuccessful for some reason and you can't setup notifications, I'd then recommend the steps mentioned here.

Keep me posted if you need any additional assistance!

I've tried that but get the following message: The email address you provided is already in use with an existing account

@johnthefish, if that is the message you are gettinf, you are probably choosing the option "Join Fitbit" rather than "Log in"
