The battery display should sort itself out when it starts syncing again as it can only update the battery status when it connects.
To try and get syncing going again I would suggest restarting your phone and then restarting your fitbit using this procedure:

Give this a few tries as it sometimes doesn't work. If it still won't sync after that then there are some more things to try in this help file:
