Blaze suddenly not showing correct distances

I am running 17.8.401.3 with an Apple 6S.  Today on a hike and a bike ride the distances were wrong.  The were plotted perfectly on the map but they were both short by around 20%.  I have had good luck for over a year and have not had problems.  I did not change any settings on my phone.

Any thoughts how I can get it working again.  Again the activity plots perfectly but Fitbit is computing a bogus distance (which messes up the pace or average speed).

There is a possibility that during some times the GPS signal was not string enough and that caused your Fitbit to rely only on your steps and stride length to calculate the distance traveled. That could explain why there is a like the one you mentioned.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

I restarted the iphone and now all seems to be working again more accurately.  Who knows what was up.

Hello @phillipsth! Thanks for letting my know.

There is a possibility that it was a slight issue with the software. Since the restart resolved the situation, it is very possible that it was nothing major.

If you have any further questions in the future, please let me know.
