Please fix syncing issues

Since updating to iOS 10.2 my Charge 2 has had trouble syncing/pairing with my phone via Bluetooth. To make it work I've done a combination of things and one of them usually temporarily helps. (I've don't a soft rest on the phone, turned Bluetooth on and off, uninstalled and reinstalled the Fitbit app, removed the Charge 2 from my Fitbit account and added it as a new device). Not the app can't even find my Charge 2 to set up as a new device. Many people are having this issue. Please develop a fix. Thank you!

Hello @Rcahalan, and welcome!, it's great to have you on board the Community. Smiley Happy

Thank you for trying some troubleshooting steps beforehand. If the app is not able to find your tracker when you tried to add it as a new device in your account I would like to suggest the following:

  • Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if Charge 2 is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device. Then try to set up your tracker once again.
  • Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the setup process.
  • Make sure the tracker is fully charged before setting it up.

I hope this can be useful, keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink

Thank you. I've already done all of those things. There seems to be no
consistent way to fix it. Eventually it pairs. Bottom line, users shouldn't
have to do this multiple times a day to use the app.
