Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @VeronaIsland. I'm sorry to hear that previous exercise days data is missing. Thank you for letting us know that it's going back several weeks including the current week.

Please follow the next steps:

  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Re open the app.
  • Force sync your device.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi,

What do you mean by Force Quit the app? I’m not familiar with that term.

Thanks for getting back to us and for your question @VeronaIsland.

In order to force quit the Fitbit app you must close it (which iPhone model do you have?, so I can send you instructions)

Good morning, this problem has been reported to Fitbit now for almost a year. Inconsistencies between the exercise day count and active zone minutes have been reported by me to Fitbit customer care, Fitbit, customer care, supervisors, and google disability support representatives. If you search the forum you will see others have also reported this problem. It appears the issue relates to the fact that exercise days only allows for 20 exercise sessions and at that point starts deleting the prior exercise sessions. Today I completed six exercise days and my total exercise sessions based on this week started with three exercise days today and has shown six exercise days, five exercise days, four exercise days and three.  I am a blind user and I am dictating this on my iPhone SE third generation running the most up-to-date version of the iOS operating system. I am running Fitbit version 4.24 and first started reporting issues with exercise days and active zone minutes back in September of last year.

Thanks for getting back to us and for letting us know about your phone model @VeronaIsland.

To force quit the Fitbit app:

  • From the Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle of the screen.
  • Swipe right or left to find the Fitbit app.
  • Swipe up on the app's preview to close the app.

@Podunk, thanks for your feedback regarding this. I appreciate your patience and our team is working on solving this.

My exercise keeps deleting. If I look at tge week its there. If I look at the months its there for 2secs and then I see it all disappearing.

There is no point in having fitbit if I cant go back and check progress etc. This is NOT ok.

Force quitting etc makes no difference. Fix the problem Fitbit. Its been going on way too long!
