A friend of mine just got a Fitbit and set up her app. The problem is, neither of us can find each other in the community so we can add each other as friends or start challenges. I’ve been using Fitbit for a year now and am familiar with how to use the app, so I am puzzled! We have each other as contacts in our phones and neither of our phones show the other person in the find through contacts tab. We tried by email and had the same issue. Both of our profiles are public so we aren’t sure why we cannot find each other. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

@LL15889 There is a phone setting that allows Fitibit to access your contact list. Settings >> Fitbit >> Contacts >> make sure it is toggled to ON. If it is toggled to ON and not working, then I have no miracle answer for THE way it is supposed to work.
I am not sure why it didn't work by email either, but you might need to go this route, as annoying as it might be. If you go your fitbit.com (web) profile, you will see your user number at the end of the URL. Try trading user numbers, someone go to the other's web profile and manually send a Friend request.
