Problem starting my Fitbit Versa 2 w IOS- Help!

Was happy today and got home with my brand new Versa 2 from the store. Had the IOS app from previous Fitbit. Updated the app to latest IOS one 3.6.1.

Setting up the device on my app (made restart to iPhone also etc before).

 

States still: "You'll need to update your Fitbit app to set up this product."

 


I really need help! This already frustrates me so much 😕

Based on what you said I would just delete the Fitbit App (even though you did with your previous Fitbit) because for what ever reason the two don’t want to play together. Just uninstall the current Fitbit App, shut down your device then turn your device back on and head to the Apple play store and download and reinstall The Fitbit app. (Make sure your Bluetooth is on before you open the app the first time after reinstalling it and of course select yes when asked to pair) You will not lose your data reinstalling the Fitbit App.

Please let me know if this does resolve your issue and gives you a solution
