Questions about the new Fitbit App

Hi guys!  I have a few questions about the new Google Rollout of the Fitbit app.
I have not seen these items addressed.
1. Since I am on the iOS support page (I am looking for specific answers). I show my last version update for Fitbit from the Apple Store is Version 3,90

can somebody with the new app tell me their app version?

2. I use a google email address and I do not feel I have the slightest clue on how to sign in under google. Is there a tutorial?

3. Has anyone made YouTube videos to help us navigate through new changes?

thanks in advance

Last week Fitbit/Google introduced version 4.00. It is a major change from what you are currently using. The step streak has been removed and the format has been changed. Wishing you luck and learning the new version of Fitbit. I cannot speak for cited users but can’t say that it appears nothing has been done to make the app friendlier for the blind and reading disabled And may have even made it more difficult. I am blind, and use Apple’s voiceover screen reading software. Just a note: Fitbit in the past has said it takes approximately two weeks for them to roll a new version of the app out to all users.

@Podunk , Thank you for your help ans sharing your insights.

@Curly8327 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for  your message and questions.

1. The current version for the Fitbit App is 3.90. The App Version 4.0 is rolling out, but not everybody has received it yet.
2. When you first open the Fitbit App you'll see "Log in with Fitbit" and  "log in with Google" . Choose the Google option and follow the instructions on the screen.
3. I couldn't find any recent Youtube videos, but you can search them at any time. The Fitbit Community users are very active uploading videos regarding the different features and help for Fitbit

I suggest you to have a look at these articles:

I hate this format as well. I miss the step streak and the “firework” display when I met all of my goals for each day.

Version 4.01 has started rolling out. As a blind user, I have noted minimal improvement with this version. The battery charge in percent has not been restored. I use Apple’s voice over screen reading software, and they did fix one thing in the focus section. The graphic that displayed initially for each of the focus items was listed as Google underline, something/underline something something, something steps, something, and the same for a.m. distance and calories. Once goal was reached a similar string of Google underline/Fitbit small checks underline something something whatever Was that added to the above information and in order to get steps a.m. distance and calories you had to swipe and wait while the image description or address was read then the check image address was read and finally the value was spoken. They did remove the first string that identified the item, but they did not remove the second string, which still appears once you’ve reached your goal. in focus originally active zone minutes was referred to as a.m. now for me. It is referred to a zone minutes and when I go down to the activity section, it is referred to as active zone minutes and inconsistency in labeling. In focus it is called calories in it is called energy burned Calories. Heart rate is called heart. Sometimes it shows a range for the day i.e.. 54 to 126. Sometimes it shows resting heart rate. Sometimes it shows resting heart rate with actual heart rate. It never shows what exercise zone I am in Which it used to do. This was helpful because based on resting heart rate, the exercise zones would change almost daily and in order to know what your exercise zones were you had to go to active minutes and scroll down to find that information. There are other issues I have brought to the attention of Fitbit customer care And Google Disability Support representatives, and at least the problem with the focus has been partially addressed. I have dictated this on my iPhone, and hope that you will be able to understand my ramblings. Some of this information affects blind and reading, disabled users, and other affects both sided and blind users.

The streak steps were the soul reason for me being diehard FItBit user. If this doesn’t come back asap, switching to apple without question. @Fitbit  you have the WORST product team ever for your roadmap.
