I'm trying to do same thing on Charge2 - I only have a + sign to add to the preset goal of 1893 MLS. No gear icon in Water menu.

@JulieU01, in order to change your water intake goal, first tap on the Account button at the top right corner of the screen.
Then, tap on Nutrition & Body
Finally, you can change your water goal by tapping on the current goal, then delete the amount shown and type your new goal.
To save your new goal, tap on the [< Account]

Best AnswerWhile I don't know a thing about ios on Android you click on the gear in the top right, then type in the new goal.
This can also be done through the web by clicking on the water tile and clicking the settings gear.
