Re: Voice cues during jog

Funnily enough I do get voice cues with a few stats after every kilometre. I start tracking my run on my phone directly and this works well. On my Charge 3 however, I could also choose from different voices/accents which I loved but can't seem to do that any longer!? I find the current female voice very harsh and would like to change it.

Hello @CaroJane

I am an iOS 13.2.3 user and I just checked my voice cues as well and I don’t have an option to change the voice on mine either. Mine is a females voice as well. (I’m currently using Fitbit App Version 3.11)

Maybe it can be something you can vote on here in the Fitbit Feature Suggestions as it has already been suggested on Oct 19, 2019: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Voice-cue-option-to-choose-different-voices/idi-...

😃 I hope this answers your question.

Hello @CaroJane yes for voice cues the user needs to use the Fitbit App to track the run. I checked the android app and do not see an option to change the voice.

As for the Charge 3, there never was or is a way to use its multisport tracking function and receive voice cues so I'm not sure what your referring to.

Hi Rich, I recently switched from an HR Charge 3 and when I used my IOS phone to track my run, I had a male voice cueing me at each kilometre mark, giving average mins per km. I happily used it for a number of years and only recently switched to a Versa 2. Now I have an American woman's voice cueing the kms and it is that which I wish to change.

As mentioned on android I do not have an option to change the voice.

I moved your iOS app question out of the Versa hardware board and into the iOS app board.

@Rick2J you will need to ask fitbit.

It is also helpful to tag someone when mentioning them.
