Readiness score no longer needs Premium

I recently read that you no longer need to have a premium membership to get the exercise readiness score. You can add it to your home screen by clicking on the customized tile and selecting. The feature will appear in my case after I closed the app and reopened. I have not seen a notification from Fitbit about the ready. Ness score now being available to all users and thought it might be helpful to mention it here in the iOS forum. I am a blind user dictating this on my iPhone and hope you will be able to understand my ramblings.  I am using an iPhone SE third generation 6.1 and Fitbit version 4.25. I believe that the availability was made in version 4.23 and 4.24. I use Apple‘s voice screen reading software to get my information.

Hi everyone. Thank you for sharing your Readiness score queries.

Please update your Fitbit app to the latest version in order to get it available. @MattRobinson, we don't have an ETA.

Have a nice day!

Hi @Podunk. It's nice to see you around.

Thanks for taking the time to share this great news with the Community! You're right, Readiness Score is now available for all our members as Premium is no longer required. Please note that you need to update the Fitbit app to 4.23 or higher to view daily readiness. You should get a prompt on the Fitbit app with this announcement, but you can also find more details in our blog.

I hope this addition helps you to reach your goals, and be sure we'll keep working to make Fitbit more useful for you!

I am located in Berlin, Germany and I use fitbit app version 4.26.1 with charge 5. Rediness score is still a premium feature for me. And there are no new updates pending.

I'm using a sense 2 in the USA. My app is updated: version 4.26.1.

The readiness score is still saying only for Fitbit premium members even though I keep reading it should be free.

Same as other replies - I'm on 4.26.1, in the US, and readiness is still showing as a premium feature

I called customer support and was assured that all customers including those in the US would eventually have the readiness score for free. It is just taking them time to roll it out and they could not give a completed by date.

Norwegian here, same app version as you. No readiness score here either.

Hi Lizzy,

Do you have any estimate on the roll out of readiness score?

I'm in the UK here, I have a sense 2, app version 4.26.1 it still says it's for premium users only.

Even a rough guess at an ETA would be lovely.

Many Thanks

Customer support was unable to commit to any timeline when I spoke with
them. They would only confirm it was in the works of being rolled out.

Hi Andrea,

But there is no new firmware available to update. Firmware Version 57.20001.188.58 is for my Charge 5.

I restarted my phone and the device couple of times. I reinstalled the fitbit app, I disconnected Charge from the phone and reconnected and all is the same.

Not sure why your answer is considered as the best for this thread but is not useful.

Thanks,

I recently read that version 4.23 of the Fitbit app allowed access to the readiness score without premium membership. A little less than two weeks ago I first noticed the update on the home screen and have been getting readiness scores now for three days. Fitbit normally takes 2 to 3 weeks to Rollout and update to all its users. I am a blind user and have dictated this on my iPhone SE third generation running Fitbit version 18.0.1 and Fitbit version 4.27. I hope you will be able to understand my ramblings and that this information is helpful.

Hi Podunk,

Thank you for detailed explanation. Yeah, I guess its not as much the version as the location. I would expect them to rollout the feature in different locations along the way. Hopefully it reaches to all of us during next couple of weeks.

P.S. Your text was perfectly readable and understandable👍

Same for me! My readiness score disappeared after I quit premium in the spring. My wife's iPhone started showing a readiness score in the last month, but no such luck here.

Today the fitbit app informed me that there were new functions in the app for training and health. And lo and behold the readiness score appeared. Screenshot showing the norwegian language version.
