Red circle on Fitbit app

The Fitbit app on my iPhone has a red circle with a 1 in the middle. Usually on apps this means you have a message or something similar. Any idea what it means with the Fitbit? I find it annoying.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand how you are feeling and recommend doing the following:

 

  1. Log out of the app.
  2. Restart your phone. 
  3. Log into the Fitbit app and check if the issue persists.
