The red dot is there for new messages, but no new messages appear. Also I am unable to delete old messages I know longer want nor need.

I appreciate your participation in the Forum and for bringing this to our attention. Please note that at this moment, it's not possible to delete messages received in the Fitbit app. My best recommendaiton in this case is to check @rubyrune's suggested idea. Feel free to add your vote and comment, this is the best way to make your voice heard.
