Sense won't sync since IOS 26 installed

Hi,

I've only managed to sync my Fitbit Sense twice since the latest IOS update a couple of weeks ago.

I have shut down and restarted both my iPhone and Sense.

When in the Fitbit app, on the 'Today' screen I repeatedly have attempted to sync by pulling down and holding the screen for a few seconds and it doesn't sync.

The Sense is connected via Bluetooth

I have deleted and reinstalled the app.

I have ensured Sense has latest update installed

I have checked iPhone permissions and they allow Fitbit to access everything

I can't think of whatelse I can do and hence looking for help to rectify please.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Vininaspin

Hi @Vininaspin.  I moved your post to the iOS app forum, a better fit for this issue.  iOS 26 is still a beta version and Apple plans to release it in September.  There are posts from other users who are having syncing problems with iOS 26 beta, too.

I have a verse 3 and have the same issue and logged it with Fitbit. I have managed to find a workaround that allows you to sync and it may work for you.

1 Disconnect device from app

2 Forget the device in Bluetooth settings

3 Restart your IOS device

4 Reconnect your device to the app BUT DO NOT ALLOW TO PAIR when prompted. You will also get prompts to pair later just click cancel.

This is what I have done and my device syncs with no issues. Hopefully they will get an app update done soon.

Thanks John for taking the time to reply. Your advice along with instructions was useful. That has allowed me to sync my Sense to the app. I can’t receive any WhatsApp etc notifications but at least I can sync it. Hopefully, a fix will be forthcoming soon. Once again thank you for your help.
