Setting up on a new phone

I’ve just got a new iPhone 8 plus and I’ve load Fitbit app and it won’t sync as it’s saying Bluetooth not switched on I do have Bluetooth on but its not finding my charge 2. If I go to add device it’s saying I have a charge 2 device. How do I pair it. Or should I  delete the charge 2 and then re add it.

Hi @Angela5569. Sorry you're having problems. Here are my suggestions. 

 

  1. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on for your new iPhone. Once in a while, mine gets turned off accidentally. 
  2. Then I would do as you suggested - on your phone, go to Bluetooth and "forget" the Charge 2. 
  3. Finally, go to a room that has no other Bluetooth devices. Try again to add the Charge 2 to your Fitbit app.
