I have the Fitbit veresa lite. I’m getting notifications from my iPhone. However, the only way to get my text messages is if I have them show on my iPhone. I have always been able to just have a text message pop up on my phone as, persons name and underneath say text message/iMessage and it showed on my Fitbit. My show preview notification has always been set to “never.”  Now the only way to receive text messages to my Fitbit is to have the show preview notifications as “always or when unlocked.” I have other friends who have the same Fitbit and iPhone and they aren’t having this problem. Please help.

Hello @epayne 

I understand your not wanting your message to be in the “preview mode”. Fitbit is aware of the issue and working on fixes. I know it’s odd that some people can tap never and it works but some have to have preview at the moment. (You mentioned friends with the same Fitbit and same iPhone) My only suggestion at the moment would be to continue to make sure you keep your Fitbit App updated as well as your iOS device. (Currently I got hit with the iOS 13.1.2 about 4 days ago) I know Fitbit is aware of this issue and hopefully it will be addressed in an update soon.

This happened to me too. All of the sudden i need to enable message preview on my phone?! something i have no interest in doing and never had to do before.
