I have a charge 4 and just purchased a new iPhone SE. Previously I had the first generation SE. The App moved over fine and the Bluetooth connection to my charge 4 was no problem. However when I track exercise (walking) in the Fitbit App distances are now showing much larger than before. What was a 2.5 mile walk now records as 3 miles and then 2.8. I have measured it with the car's odometer and 2.5 is accurate distance.

Hello @RHVermont
Having your Charge 4 connected to a new mobile device shouldn’t affect the performance of your Charge 4. Try rebooting your Charge 4 to see if that helps resolve the problem. Here’s how: go to and tap the settings on your Charge 4 Fitbit. Now scroll down and tap about then tap reboot device.
😃 Let me know if this improves the accuracy and helps resolve the issue.

Thanks. I rebooted and will check on my next walk.

Unfortunately it didn't make a difference. Also, the inaccuracy is not constant. I am starting the Fitbit App on my phone and then using the track exercise function.

I have had the same problem - did the reset both on phone and the Charge 3 I have. It has been happening with the same phone and the difference between tracking a gps activity with Strava is WAY more accurate and shows a detailed path whereas Fitbit seems to be sampling or tracking location every 30+ seconds. I don’t know what else to try

Thanks. Ironically when I look at two identical walks one day apart on the App, the route trace on the maps are the same but the distances are different.
