Sleep not accurate on my tracker.

I gut up a number of times due to a cough but clearly was asleep for a total of at least 7 hr. Any way to adjust or get the Fitbit to recheck?

Hello @MartinBrossman, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board!

When you got up in the night, did you walk while wearing the tracker? Have you experienced this situation before in the past? It's possible that if you got up and walked, the tracker recognized this action as the end of your sleep cycle, which is why the amount of hours slept was reduced.

Nevertheless, I would like to recommend restarting your tracker and monitor it for the next days to check if you're still experiencing the same situation. Additionally, you can edit your sleep by tapping on the sleep tile on the app Dashboard  and then on the sleep log you'd like to edit:

On the next screen tap on the Ellipsis icon on the top right corner of the screen and then on Edit Log.

Finally, you can adjust the date and time of the sleep log and when you're finished tap on SAVE.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Yes I did get up and walked. Maybe down the hall and back. Wonder if there is a way to link them together. Thanks for replying.

Hello @MartinBrossman, I hope you're doing well. Smiley Happy

Thanks for taking the time to reply and let me know that you indeed, got up and walked. That's the reason your tracker marked the end of the sleep cycle. At this moment it's not possible to merge 2 different sleep cycles inside the app. However, I would like to suggest deleting one of the sleep logs and edit the second one, as the information is still available in the tracker, once you edit the second sleep log, it will automatically add the hours from the first one and even the awake time when you got up and walked.

I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted, I'll be happy to help. Smiley Wink
