On several nights I appear to have a section of time missing from my sleep data...there's nothing missing from hr graph...any ideas what's going on as other nights it records the whole night correctly?

Hello @Sparkyrite, thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community one more time! I wonder if you can share a screenshot of your sleep entries to have a closer look to these missing periods of time of sleep?
In the meantime try to change the sensitivity of your tracker.
- The normal setting counts significant movements as being awake (such as rolling over) and is appropriate for most users.
- The sensitive setting will cause your tracker to record nearly all movements as time spent restless or awake. This setting may be helpful for users who wake up feeling tired even though their sleep history shows sufficient rest.
You can find this options on your iOS app on the Account Tab > Scroll to Advanced Settings > and change Sleep Sensitivity.
Hope this helps, otherwise you can find me here.
