My fitbit is accurately tracking the time I sleep, but the bar graph is completely off. Random hours are added to my nightly sleep time on the graph

Hello @sam3123, thanks for joining us, it's great to see new faces around the Community! Smiley Happy

This seems like a very odd situation, if your tracker is accurately tracking your sleep hours but the graph is showing off, it's possible the app is not updating the information correctly, please try the following to refresh the information:

  • Force-close the app by double tapping the home button and swiping up the app.
  • Log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in.

If this doesn't do the trick, please reply to me with a screenshot of your sleep graph so I can investigate this further.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a shot and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink

Hello @sam3123, thanks for replying to me.

It seems the graph is indeed reflecting the correct time, the issue seems to be linked to the Y-axis of the graph that it's showing weird quantities. Thank you for reporting this, I'll make sure to forward this information to our team so they can investigate this and provide a prompt and proper resolution for what it seems is a bug with the graph.

I appreciate your patience and understanding. In the meantime, if there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted!

Mine is doing the same! I wonder if it's the app in general? Thanks!

The same issue is happening to mine. However it can be the axis as it's only been the last two days previously fine. I've had to take two screen shots to demonstrate

Hello @NCandy and @Nickyje, welcome to the Fitbit Community, thanks for joining the conversation! Smiley Happy

@NCandy, it seems the Y-axis on the sleep graph is displaying information that is not matching the graph, would it be possible for your to send me a screenshot of your sleep graph so I can compile this information and forward it? That will be very helpful.

@Nickyje, please follow these steps to upload your pictures on your next reply, thanks for reporting this and for your patience and understanding. Smiley Wink

My sleep graph is not recording the correct start time for sleep, by 3 to 4 hours. How to fix? Help.

Thank you for trying to help! Here's the photo. As you can see, it says I have 7 hours but then logs about 14. IMG_9383.PNG

Mine is doing the same thing. It will say I got 14 hours sleep in an 8 hour period on my dashboard. I click on his sleep icon and it tells me I actually got 4 hours.

Mine is doing the same. It has only started to happen this week. The first time I sync it appears to be ok e.g. 7hrs but any subsequent sync or adding an activity results in a doubling of the sleep time (e.g. to 14hrs), as well as doubling restless and awakes on the dashboard. Like the others the graph also doubles within the sleep tracker to 14 hrs but the recording under that maintains the correct time e.g. 7hrs.

Hello @Bradeegan@StarrZy and @TGfit, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It's nice to see you around too @Nickyje and @NCandy

@NCandy, thanks for replying to me with the screenshots, as mentioned before, it seems the Y-axis on the sleep graph is not displaying the correct information, and I'll make sure to forward this to our team so they can take a better look at it and investigate further.

Everyone, if you're having the same inconvenience with your graph, I would really appreciate if you could reply to me with the screenshots showing the correct sleep hours in the bottom and the graph displaying more hours than usual.

@Nickyje to upload photos from your phone, tap on the Photos icon when you're replying to a post, that will prompt your browser to open your Photos where you can look for the picture you'd like to update. If your browser is not opening Photos, please go to your phone Settings > Browser (Safari/Chrome/Firefox) and make sure Photos is enabled.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, in the meantime, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
