Someone else's email!

Hi guys

I'm doing steptember (10,000 steps/day) and I thought I'd register my fitbit with the steptember app for ease of tracking..but when i got here, I realised I couldn't log in! So I jumped onto the app only to find that it had someone else's email address in there (a gmail account). I know I registered my main email when I first got my fitbit 2. How the hell could this happen?? I still get fitbit notifications from fitbit to my current email account. I had to change it which was thankfully seamless.

Highly recommend you do a quick check.

I had this issue with Spotify where someone effectively stole my account and changed all the details and logged me out. You can't be too careful in this day and age.
