SpO2 app is installed but Fitbit app doesn't find it

Since the last App update (5 days ago), my Charge 6 is not recording SPO2.

I have restarted my FitBit, but the problem continues.

Try reading the whole thread buddy. "did they ever?" when people are reporting problems over the last couple days, along with the last few months.

yeah, they ever fixed it for sure!

This has been an ongoing issue since around April 2025 after I updated the app. I have had several tech think they resolved the issue but still a problem. They also keep saying keep checking and doing all the updates and the problem should resolve but still is not.

SpO2 reading is delayed by up to 24 hours, so if you scroll back to
'Yesterday' on the app homepage it should be there under Health Metrics.
Apparently Google has stated that this reading is now 'delayed'. Not sure
why the change, maybe they found a cheaper provider of this data analysis?
Who knows. One thing is clear, it won't be 'fixed' any time soon!

You're absolutely right—re-adding the Charge 6 can trigger a partial reset, which might explain why it behaved like a new device. Fitbit really needs to streamline their update rollout and clarify what’s considered a regulated health metric. The SpO2 issue especially shouldn’t be this vague.

On a side note, during all this syncing trouble I found myself relying more on lightweight apps for everything—including streaming. If anyone else needs something fast and frustration-free, the best streaming app  has been a solid fallback lately. No account needed and just works.
