Recently, I manually started a couple Skiing activities on my Charge 6. If I view the data from the sessions via the Manage Data -> Exercise -> Review Your Data route, I see the older style detail screen and there's a Speed graph there showing my skiing speed over the duration of the session.
That graph does not appear when simply tapping the Exercise tile from the Today view and tapping the Skiing session. Instead, I see a bar graph broken down by "Lap", which is just a mile-by-mile breakdown of what seems to just be the average speed over that 1-mile distance.
Breaking alpine skiing into "laps" would make sense if the "lap" re-set at the end of downhill travel and ignored uphill travel on the lift. If that cannot be achieved, the speed bar graph should be replaced by the older speed line graph over the duration of the activity.
I only found this because I had one short skiing session of less than a mile recorded that would crash the app every time I tried to view it from the Exercise tile. It did not crash the app when I viewed via Manage Data.
