Stats aren’t matching up

Spouse and I go walking together & noticed large differences in our stats so tried testing w/o success.  For example, we walk side by side, same pace, no deviation on route, neither falls behind. However, his Fitbit 6 records anywhere from .5 to .8 mile more.  So lately, on our walks, we only follow a route we can drive.  Mileage on my Fitbit 6 matches mileage for car perfect, yet his Charge 6 still show .5 more.  In addition, we start and end at the same time, yet his Charge 6 can show as much as 3 minutes more.  Again, comparing our pace, he is doing 16 or 17 min/mi and my Charge 6 pace records 19 min pace.  I have gone thru every one of our settings systematically and they are set up identically.  There should not be this much deviation in stats.

Even if you and your spouse do the same amount of steps, the distance might vary. This is because the stride length of your spouse is different to yours. ( this depends on the personal info, high). 

If you want to compare both Charge 6, you should input the same information for high, weight, age, etc. 

You could change the stride length of any of the Charge 6.
