Step streak box is hard to clear

I am on an iOS device. When my step streak box appears, it displays an X to clear it. The Sensitivity on the x is very small making it nearly impossible to clear the box (it’s like 1 pixel.) The step streak covers other messages so I often don’t get my nutrition tips. 

would be great if they could make it easier to clear.
