Steps are not syncing correctly

My Fitbit this morning said I was at 1,000 steps which would have been accurate. I just checked my steps now at 3:43 pm and it is saying 0 steps..?

Hello @sarah_fit_bit, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

This seems like a very odd situation, is this the first time it has happened? Have you updated the Fitbit app recently?

At this moment I would like to suggest restarting your Alta and syncing it again. If this issue happens again, please set up your tracker as a new device to reset the connection between your phone and your tracker and prevent this issue from happening again. Don't worry, none of the information stored in your account so far will get deleted.

To set up your tracker as a new device:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  3. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink
