Steps are missing from the iPhone app. Tried force closing & deleting app but still no steps!
How can I add them back?

On your app click "Edit" top left and make sure there is a check mark next to the footsteps icon.  Then click done.  I hope this gets it sorted out!  Welcome to the Community.

Hi Julia, thanks for your reply. I have tried this already and the steps are not on the list of items that can be selected.

@JMac72 , there was a bug recently which caused the steps and other icons to be missing; however it has been fixed. I would suggest making sure you have the latest version of the app. If that doesn't solve it, could you please provide a screen shot of what appears under your edit screen?
