Steps not syncing correctly in app.

My Fitbit stops counting my steps late in the afternoon and starts over! Yesterday I did 6000 plus steps when I checked at 2:15. Then at 4:00 when I looked it had started over and said I'd done 167 steps, later when I checked it said 2670 steps. So by the end of the day I should have had at least 10000.!!! What can I do?

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Tell me, which Fibit device are you currently wearing? Have you restarted it already? Is this the first time you've experienced this situation?

 

This information will be very helpful for us to check this further. Now, if this happens again, please go to the online Dashboard after syncing your device and check if the steps are showing up correctly here. If they are, please try the following in the app:

 

  • Force-quit the app, then open it again. If this doesn't seem to work:
  • Log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. 

Give these steps a try and let us know the outcome.
