Steps not syncing to challenge

I have taken over 30k steps so far this week and my challenge is only showing less than 20k. Why are these numbers not the same. I do not manually enter anything.

Hello @Kmcmillan5, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board! Smiley Happy

Is this the first time you're experiencing this situation? Have you tried to restart the Fitbit app?If so, it's possible the information is not updating correctly. Please check if the amount of steps are showing correctly on your Dashboard. If they're correct, below are possible reasons for this issue:

1. Your steps have fully synced to our database but you're not viewing the mobile app dashboard in Live Data Mode. (Live data mode would show the word "connected" under your tracker tile).
2. You used MobileRun to track GPS data with your app. Only steps recorded by a tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
3. All challenge participants are not in the same time zone.

I would also like to suggest waiting 15 minutes after syncing your Fitbit data to see if your challenge updates. Additionally, force-close the app by double-tapping the home button and swiping up the app, then open it once again. If this doesn't do the trick, log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink

I have tried all of these steps and I do not do anything to enter steps. I just allow the tracker to count steps for me.
