I had to manually add some walks and runs to my exercises. My step count in the daily dashboard took a while but did eventually update, BUT the tally of steps in my Workweek Hustle stayed the same before and after I manually added the walks/runs. Here are screen shots of both views in the iOS app.
Also, I have updated to the most recent version of iOS software and Fitbit app

Hello @ls22
I have read your post several times before I figured out what the problem was. The answer was that there is absolutely no problem at all. Let me explain....manually added exercises do not count in challenges. You will see changes occur like on the daily dashboard etc but they will not be reflected in any challenges (including the Workweek Hustle you spoke about) This is to prevent individuals from inflating their steps in ways that would make the challenge unfair or be perceived as cheating (for a better lack of word I can come up with). So with that said your Fitbit App is performing correctly and not allowing alterations to occur in challenges with manually inputted exercises.
😃 I hope this did indeed give you the best answer to your question.
