Hello,
I noticed this morning that my step recording from yesterday was updated in the app and is inaccurate. My total steps in my community competition were significant reduced.
Could you you look into this?

Thanks for letting me know about this situation, and let's work on this together! Just to confirm, did you see an accurate amount of steps on your Fitbit device before syncing? Is the Fitbit app update to the latest version? Also, did you manually log an activity in the Fitbit app? As this will reduce the amount of steps in your account and challenges. While there isn't an option to recover this data, I'd recommend to force quit the Fitbit app, reboot your phone and restart your Fitbit device so everything can start working correctly.
