I went to sleep before midnight and woke up with over 10,000 steps. I reset the Fitbit, however this continues to happen. How can I fix this? Thanks for your help 🙄

Hi @ValeQ. A warm welcome to the forums.
Thanks for letting me know about your Fitbit tracking steps while you're sleeping and for the steps tried. As you may know our Fitbit devices will detect your sleep when you're inactive for more than 1 hour. However, if you're moving too much while sleeping your Fitbit might think that you're awake and track a few steps by mistake. Since you mentioned to have received over 10,000 steps, may I know the model of your Fitbit device? Were you wearing your Fitbit not too tight or loose on your wrist as described here? Also, by reset do you mean to have tried a restart with the steps from this help article?
By the way, I’ve moved your post to this new thread so we can keep our forums organized and you can receive help from the Community.
I look forward to your response.
