Steps v. mileage is incorrect.

Mileage shown is 0.26 & steps shown is over 12,000. What's going on?

Miles are calculated by multiplying your steps by your stride length so the stride length must be too low. If you have let fitbit default the stride then I would check your height in your profile settings at https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/edit as this is used to determine the default. If you have set your own stride length then this is worth looking at again.
