Stop the app from “recognizing” walks

I don’t need or want my fitbit to decide I’m exercising and then start a timer and graphics to celebrate the decision. If I happen to decide to walk over to a friend’s house a few blocks away and glance at my watch to see the time, I have to click “pause” and then scroll and click “done” and then scroll again and click “finish,” just to see the time. I would rather manually log my walks than deal with this.

 

I have “auto recognize exercise” turned off in the app, see below. What else do I have to do?

@m2bk   I looked at your public profile, because you didn’t mention what model you use.  I saw your post in the Charge 6 forum.  I see you got the help you needed.
