On the main screen, since the app update, there is now a summary of my completed exercise. Awesome... except the stats that it gives are totally different than what I actually did except for the time the activity was done. Mostly it shows me running further and much much quicker.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @MeganAnne333.
Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand how you are feeling and recommend confirming if your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version as our team has released a new app version recently: How do I update the Fitbit app?
I also recommend restarting your Fitbit device: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Yes, that was the first thing I tried. I also tried logging out and logging back in.

Thanks for continuing to help me troubleshoot. Reinstalling the app did not resolve the issue.
I have an iPhone 11 and the iOS version is 14.4.2. I've tried to insert a photo but when I click on the camera icon to add a photo I am given a box with free text fields for 'source', 'image description', and 'dimensions' and I'm not really sure what to do with that. I also tried dropping my image file into this message text box but received a red warning stating that I don't have permission to upload images.
Basically, on the "TODAY" page of the app I can see my exercise summary which includes my run for today. Here it gives 4.5 mi, 7'17" pace, and 151 avg bpm. But this is wrong. In the "Exercise" page of the app I can see that today's run was actually 2.8 mi and the pace was 11'42" - which is correct. The avg bmp is consistent between the two locations.
Thanks for your continued help.

I am having the same issue as described above. I have also already made sure my app is up to date. Is there an update on this issue?

Yup, same issue here and tried all the suggestions from this thread, exercise stats are still in error. Am using iPhone 12 mini and have the latest iOS version.
Monitoring the app to see when this issue gets resolved.
