Since 12/09/2016 update, Surge will not stay in sync with iPhone6plus. Only Suge(classic) visible on bluetooth. I have to remove bluetooth Surge(classic) device and re-pair to Surge(classic) in order to re-establish bluetooth link in order to sync after connection is lost. Please correct the issue in next update.

If you're not able to see Surge on the list of paired devices, it's possible Notifications are not set up on your tracker, as this is the reason which Surge appears on this list. Surge (Classic) is used only for Music Control.

Your tracker should be able to sync correctly even if it's not on the list of paired devices. Once you set up Notifications on your Surge and the Fitbit app, the Bluetooth bond will be established and you'll be able to see it on the list of paired devices on your Bluetooth Settings.

To set up Notifications:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab.
  2. Select Surge and then Notifications.
  3. A pop-up will appear asking if you'd like to perform the bond. Tap OK to continue.
