This is my second surge. First one was worn out. Uninstalled the old surge off the mobile app (iphone). Connected new surge via bluetooth to the phone and it seems to sync. BUT... it can't be used until it is updated "Finish Setup Your Surge needs an update before you can use it. Finish Now Later".
So I tap finish now on my iphone...nothing. It says, "Surge Update Available" so I press that and it advances to the next screen in the iphone app with a large red bar that says "Update Tracker". I press it and the red bar turns grey until I release it and it returns to red. Nothing.
Surge screen is in a loop, "Let's get started" in about 5 languages.
I have reset the surge about 7 times, force restarted my iphone several times, closed and opened the app many times.
What am I missing? Help please.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @willdmytriw. It's great to have you here. This behavior sounds weird. If you are still experiencing the same problem I would recommend setting up your Surge as a replacement device once again by following @SteveH's steps. If this doesn't help and you have a computer please try to pair your tracker to see if this does the trick. Let me know how it goes.
