Hi @SunsetRunner, it's nice to see you again in our Community Forums.
I am sorry to hear about the difficulty with syncing and pairing you're experiencing since the new app update. I am glad to help you with this. If your Fitbit device is not paired to your Fitbit account, please try the following:
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and forget your Fitbit device from the list.
- Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
- Force quit the Fitbit app.
- Reboot your phone and restart the device by following the steps from this help article.
- Tap the Today tab
- Tap Set Up a Device.
- Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
For complete troubleshooting instructions, see Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.
