Syncing and pairing difficulty after new app update

Since Fit-bit has released the new ios update I am unable to sync to the app and the pairing function is broken.

I am sorry to hear about the difficulty with syncing and pairing you're experiencing since the new app update. I am glad to help you with this. If your Fitbit device is not paired to your Fitbit account, please try the following:

 

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and forget your Fitbit device from the list.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  4. Reboot your phone and restart the device by following the steps from this help article.
  5. Tap the Today tab
     
    , and tap your profile picture. 
  6. Tap Set Up a Device
  7. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
