Syncing between Charge 2 and Charge HR

I am currently wearing my HR. Before I synced my HR the steps were 9,300+ and after I synced step count went down to 6,621. I was at least 20 ft away from my Charge 2 and they synced a minute apart. This happened several months ago to many others and I am hoping it was just a one time glitch. Any suggestions?

This seems like a very odd situation, have you experienced it regularly in the latest days? Have you updated the Fitbit app recently? If so, I would like to suggest the following:

 

  1. Restart both your Charge HR and your Charge 2. 
  2. Check the steps on both trackers before syncing them. 
  3. Sync the one with more steps and wait for the information to show up in your account. 
  4. Wait 10 minutes before syncing the other tracker.
