Syncing difficulties with Versa

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Just contacted versa about issues I have had since October and they told me they could see I had exhausted all the ideas they have me but the will not stand behind the product.  They blamed it on the Apple update but told me they are working with Apple to fix it but don't know how long it will take.

@melissa2393 it seems as though you might have been misinformed or maybe i have based off of conflicting information provided here on the forums.

The issue with fitbits after the Apple update is regarding notifications. At the time of replying this can be identified by the pink banner present in the forums regarding ios 13. Maybe support just grouped your issue in with it since you have a Apple product.

However, it appears that other companies, like garmin, issued an update to their app specifically addressing the bluetooth issue. There hasn't been an update to the bluetooth in the fitbit app or at least if it has it hasn't been disclosed in the app updates provided by fitbit.

No one really knows when to expect an update on the issue from Fitbit:

1. iOS 13 was released on September 19, 2019 so the issue "officially" existed since then.

2. Apple provided all of the developers, including fitbit, access to ios 13 in June of 2019 so that they could make any necessary changes to their app prior to september 19th.

3. Fitbit users reported the issues in June 2019 with their Fitbit devices if they opted into the beta program.

Currently there is no expected fix in sight, but the issue has been present for like 4-7 months depending on how you want to look at it.
