Syncing wipes my steps

Every time I sync my Fitbit flex 2 it wipes my steps on both the app and the fitbit

By any chance have you been manually logging your steps? When you manually log an activity, its step and calorie data override the data automatically detected by your tracker during the same time period. This ensures that your steps are not counted twice as long as the manually logged activity has the correct start time and duration.

 

I also recommend performing the restart 2 or 3 consecutive times and keep an eye on it.
