Syncing with healtapp iPhone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I use the apple watch 2 for steps. My health-app on my iPhone uses it as well.
During the setup of my fitbit-app I chose my mobile-device for counting steps.
However, after syncing, the steps in my fitbit-app are not the same as in my healthapp. My healt-app says 10,788 and fitbit says just over 8.000 steps. And it doesn't change after a douzen times syncing again.
What goes wrong?

Hello @YCoppets, have a warm welcome to the Community, it's nice to have you on board! Smiley Happy

This seems like a very odd situation. Usually the steps shown on the Health app sync are the same on the Fitbit app when using MobileTrack but the difference here is that you're using an Apple Watch. It's possible the watch is counting more or less steps than your phone itself, which is causing the discrepancy.

Currently Fitbit and the iOS Health app can't be linked which is why I would like to encourage you to vote and comment on @so-rich's suggested idea to implement a way to sync the information between iOS Health and Fitbit.

I hope this can be helpful, keep me posted in case you need anything else.
